EC-6 Generalist
iteachTEXAS offers teacher certification in the EC-6 Generalist content area. With this certification, you may teach English, math, science, social studies, music, art and physical education at the elementary level, early childhood through fourth grade. Currently, there is not a shortage of EC-6 Generalist teachers. Since it is most difficult to obtain an EC-6 teaching position, we encourage you to be flexible and open to additional content areas, such as the 4-8 Generalist area.
