Program Fees
Total Cost of Program (All program fees are non-refundable) $5,000.00
This is the anticipated cost for a candidate who completes all iteachTEXAS program requirements according to the program timeline. The total cost is broken down into the following fees:
Application Fee $75.00
Program Access Fee (10% down) $425.00
- Due prior to receiving the Statement of Eligibility
- Due prior to beginning online instruction
Instructional Fee $500.00 per month for 7 months
Field Experience Fee $1,000.00
Payment Options
You have the following options for payment of fees:
- Sign a Personal Payment Plan indicating monthly payments made directly to iteachTEXAS once Field Experience is obtained.
- Pay for the instruction as you are participating in the course work and then pay for Field Experience once Field Experience is obtained.
- Access to IPAC 1001 is not given until Personal Payment information is submitted.

Course Renewal Fees $400.00
If you do not complete the instructional courses within the 12-month time frame, you must pay another access fee. If continuation is approved, you will be given six months to complete your coursework.
Financial Aid
Troops to Teachers (TTT) continues to offer stipends of up to $5000 to military retirees and long-term (10 or more years) reservists and Guard personnel currently in drilling status to offset the costs of certification. The TTT program also offers incentive bonuses of $10,000 to participants who teach in high need schools. Any repayment associated with an awarded grant is an arrangement between the individual and the granting authority. assumes no legal responsibility, contractual or otherwise, for the granting or repayment of such funds to the extent such funds are used to pay program fees. Any grants available for and granted to an candidate to cover living expenses, etc., while seeking certification are your responsibility to repay to the granting authority, and has no role in that arrangement.

Troops to Teachers
This program offers guidance and support for military veterans who wish to make the transition from active duty into the teaching profession. Troops to Teachers has funds to help pay for the certification programs of eligible military retirees and long-term Guard and Reserve members.
Other financial aid
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board administers a variety of grants for attending college. You may also qualify for other financial aid, student loans or scholarships. Contact the teacher training program you wish to attend for additional information.
GI Bill-OJT (On the Job Training) Funding
