Teacher Certification (Domestic): Financial Aid
Due to the salary level of teachers, there are limited financial aid resources available to individuals
seeking certification.
Troops to Teachers continues to offer stipends of up to $5000 to military retirees and long term (10 or
more year) reservists and Guard personnel currently in drilling status to offset the costs of certification.
The TTT Program also offers incentive bonuses of $10,000 to participants who teach in high need schools.
If you are retired from military service or think you may be eligible for TTT, please call Meryl Kettler
at www.esc13.net/troops or 1-800-810-5484.
