Robert J. Widmer, Jr. holds a Master of Law in taxation from New York University, a Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah, and a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy. Prior to joining iteachTEXAS, Widmer owned a private law firm for more than 20 years, where he carried out general business and tax planning, estate and charitable planning, wealth preservation planning as well as taxpayer defense. He formerly served as Executive Vice President for First Texas Medical, Inc., Lewisville, Texas, where he was responsible for corporate legal functions, tax and strategic planning, joint venture planning and financial planning for physicians. He brings a wealth of knowledge to iteachTEXAS and serves as the company’s in-house legal counsel.
