Diann HuberDiann Huber holds a Doctorate of Education in curriculum and instruction and a Master of Business Administration in labor relations from the University of North Texas, as well as a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and business from Howard Payne University.

Huber has significant experience in both the education and corporate sectors. She began her career in education as a mathematics student teacher at Brownwood High School, Brownwood, Texas. She went on to work for American Airlines, where she was responsible for curriculum development, recurrent training and the facilitation of communication seminars. Huber has also provided curriculum development and educational consulting services for state and private educational institutions. In this capacity, she partnered with The Texas Education Agency and other state educational institutions in Texas to develop presentation seminars, online teacher curriculum, and training material, and she also assisted private schools and public school districts in staff development, course sequencing and curriculum coordination. Huber’s additional educational experience includes the College of Education at The University of North Texas, where she held roles as a lecturer, professional development school coordinator and ExCET Coordinator.

This combination of education and corporate experience paved the way for Huber to establish iteachTEXAS. In 2002, she recognized the need for a teacher preparation program that responded to the growing market for technological teaching devices. This led her to combine her expertise in curriculum development, online instruction and state certification procedures to establish iteachTEXAS. In January 2003, the program was approved by the Texas Sate Board for Educator Certification as an alternative route to certification for teacher candidates in Texas. By the end of its the 2005-2006 school year, its third year in operation, iteachTEXAS became one of the largest providers of initially certified teachers in Texas, a distinction the program maintains as it continues to grow. In 2007, iteachTEXAS officially became iteachU.S. and will provide alternative teacher certification throughout the United States.
